Well, that depends. Are you looking for novelty/hilarity, or somewhere that will actually set the mood? My answer will differ depending on which it is.
{ of course she wants both, but that's fine. he wouldn't have offered both if he didn't have some answers. }
For the novelty option, I'd suggest Banana and Donut { which exists/existed and has a hilarious logo } They have a few options on themes. I can't say I've used it personally though, only checked it out for curiosity's sake.
The latter I'd recommend a regular hotel over a love hotel. I stayed at one with a good friend of mine for the weekend and it was luxurious, has plenty of facilities and you can make requests to make it more special if that's the aim with this. If you wanted something to spice it up, you have a good friend who can put together a 'treat' bag for you both to try something new. I won't ask if you use it. At least this way it'll feel more special overall by having a place not feel forced.
Admittedly I use hotels for this a lot less often than you'd think.
{ unfortunately he gave the cabin weekend voucher to firefly, or he'd ask if that wouldn't work -- for all he knows firefly is keeping that for a surprise of her own 😔 }
Did you think that I thought that you went to a hotel for that reason every other day or something?
[ A pause and then... ]
Good to know that the normal hotels are useful for that purpose. I'd do it all at home, but Dromy's liable to knock my door down if I lock it and the room's not soundproof.
{ even with his drunk texts from before 😔 she has her own things to think about }
Let's just say that was a universal 'you'.
{ but ah . . . }
That's probably for the best. I've found the rooms do have soundproofing in the starter apartments so the bedroom tends to be fine, but if you forget and start getting it on against the entryway door though, they may stare at you before you realise you have an audience.
Thankfully my { excuse him while he takes a few minutes to think of how to phrase this fucking thing } companion at the time didn't seem to mind too much.
{ companion is probably a safe word. let's go with that. }

Date: 2026-01-20 07:54 pm (UTC)As for the novelty rooms... do you think there's one that has a classroom theme?

Date: 2026-01-20 08:05 pm (UTC)There is one, yes. It even has a classroom style desk, along with a whiteboard.
{ 😔 he hasn't used it, but you never know when it could come up okay. }
